Never ever thought I would see
You digging a chick like me!
You embracing every quirky quality
And accepting my nuisances freely.
Or me fitting so comfortably
Against your every nook and cranny.
As I lay sated and silently,
In the massive arms of thee…
Listening so very intently
To your heart which rhythmically,
Syncs with mine in unity.
I, your love slave, shall always be.
I have no desire to be set free.
Content to spend all eternity,
With no escape from this captivity.

The first time our eyes connected…Wow!
Your pupils twinkled in amusement.
Yeah, you saw my soul’s reaction.
The right corner of your lips
Raised in acknowledgment…
Which drew my attention to their contour.
And my immediate thought was
“Wow…I know those damn things are soft.”
But me being the consummate professional,
The Diva always in control
Such a Southern Belle,
Held myself in check and simply said,
“Hi...insert name…nice to meet you.”

So we would continue to interact,
Conversations here and there
That would evolve in depth and frequency.
Til I noticed “Wow…damn…
This dude really knows me.
You’ve completed my sentences
And my body responded to
The baritone of your voice.
And I found myself experiencing things
That I couldn’t wait to share with just you.
Wow…only to have you beat me to the punch
With a similar story.

And all along my thoughts were consumed
And my imagination ran wild with thoughts
Of being possessed by you.
Then it happened…yes that moment
When Mars and Venus aligned.
You simply touched my face.
Then your arms encircled me,
Drawing me against your strength,
Filling my nostrils with your scent.
I closed my eyes in expectation.
And wow…I would not be denied or disappointed.
For our lips touched
And our tongues entwined, 
Til our breathing became one.
Wow…that first kiss.
Man, damn your lips are soft!

Jonesin’

Thought I had erased the memories of you
Yep knew I was over it…had move way past you
Boxed up the pictures I had of you
Shredded those naughty letters from you
Deleted text messages sent by you
So why the hell am I jonesin’?

Is it because I caught a glimpse of you?
Or drove by the last spot I visited with you
Maybe that my red sweater contains the scent of you
Is it that waiter dude who has the same name as you
Or the occasional racy dreams I have of you
What could have me jonesin’?

I mean you are just a human…just you
No superpowers…no magic…no god…simply you
There will be another who means more than you
One who will mean forever when he says it…unlike you
One whose actions will dispel all thought of you
Yeah, then he will have me jonesin’.

Encourages the hesitant,

Uplifts those grieving,

Strengthens the weakened,

Inspires the battle-weary,

Loves the heart-broken.

 

Your voice…

Commands attention,

Puts things in motion,

Makes circumstances surmountable,

Eliminates doubt,

Sets souls on fire.

 

Your voice…

Makes me warm and bubbly,

Puts a smile on my face,

Strokes my ego,

Sends my heart to racing,

Fills me with desire.

 

The only thing that could surpass

The power of your voice…

Your presence.

Funny, how just the thought of you
Sends me into a tailspin!
There is no rhyme or reason…
It just does not make sense…
How my mind is so easily blown,
And you’re not even present!

Funny, how your unexpected notes
Are always so well-timed!
Making me so in sync with you…
Very few words are needed….
Yes, just a few are carefully chosen,
But to me make perfect sense!

Funny, how the words you compose
Can produce feelings so intense!
And my mind conjures of images…
Producing visible body shutters…
Delivering a powerful sensual assault,
To which there is no defense!

Funny, how we have connected
In spite of the time and distance!
Barriers have quickly fallen…
Our souls have loved and united…
And though we are still apart,
I find myself satisfied and content!

But even when I whisper them
Searing heat spreads
Tingling from the crown of my head
To the French tips of my toes.

Just three syllables,
But once they are pronounced
Ooooh…once they are enunciated,
I feel suddenly liberated
Floating on a gentle breeze.

Just three syllables,
But just to speak them,
Causes heavenly objects to spin around…
Builds up walls and tears them down!
Wow, such power in your name!

The silky caress of cashmere

Gliding from the crown of my head

Down the column of my neck

Over the rise of my lady mounds

Across the plains of my belly

Nipping…kissing, and occasionally resting

As it continues its journey

Farther and farther south

Swirling around my calves

Lacing between my salsa-red toes

Only to massage the soles of my feet

Those are the incomparable sensations produced

From your laughter


Like the sweet effervescence of moscato

That instantly lightens my head

Tickles my nasal passages

And produces tingling that spreads

From my chest to my fingertips

That is quickly replaced

By a searing, consuming warmth

That enfolds me in its embrace

Lulls me into tranquility

And blocks out my surroundings

That’s my natural response

To your laughter


Though the earth seems to tremble

And the molecules of air

Shift nervously to and fro…up and down

Due to the rumble that bubbles from deep inside,

My being is totally comforted

As though wrapped in a blanket woven

From the bass that escapes your lips

That could only be a product

Of joy placed at your very center

A gift from the Heavenly Father

That my soul eagerly connects with

Yes, that’s the life-altering impact

Of your laughter
